Supporting a fundraiser:


Supporting a fundraising campaign is easy! Once you’ve signed up with Outsized Opinions, just click the “join fundraiser” button, and enter the referral code. You’ll see a confirmation of the fundraising effort you’re supporting, and a countdown of how much time remains.

Click on “View Fundraising Progress” in your home page to see how the fundraiser is doing, and how you’re stacking up compared to others!

When the fundraiser has concluded, your account will revert to an individual account once more. Feel free to earn Reward Points toward your own gift cards, join another fundraiser or even start a fundraiser on behalf of a charity you want to support!

  • At this time, respondents may not participate in multiple fundraising efforts simultaneously. Only one fundraising effort per contact.
  • Respondents who have earned points on a personal account before choosing to support a fundraiser will maintain their personal point balance, but all points earned DURING the fundraising duration will be automatically contributed to the fundraising effort (not their personal accounts). At the conclusion of the fundraising effort (fundraising duration expiration), accounts will automatically revert to personal accounts.
  • Unsubscribe or “opt-out” from the fundraiser at any time
  • Points earned while supporting a fundraising campaign cannot be transferred to a personal account.

Establish a Fundraising Campaign

If you lead or chair a nonprofit, club, team or classroom – you’ve got supporters! Put them to work for a great cause – yours! Reach out to your supporters to take surveys and your fundraiser will earn the reward points!

To set up a fundraiser, we will collect some information from you (the complete list of information is in our FAQ’s), but click the link above to get started. Once we’ve collected your information, we’ll take a few days to verify it with your charity or nonprofit. Once confirmed, we’ll provide you a fundraiser participation code along with an email template that you can send to supporters!

Some important things to note before getting started:

  • Only registered 501(c)(3) charities, 501(c) nonprofit organizations (NPO) or 501(c) not-for-profit organizations (NFPO) qualify for this fundraising opportunity.
  • Cash-out cannot occur until the pre-determined fundraising duration has expired! Only one payout per fundraising effort.
  • Fundraising payments are sent to the pre-determined / verified fundraiser mailing address at the conclusion of the fundraiser duration. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
  • Fundraising duration can be as short as 1 month, up to 4 months. Duration is set at the time of fundraiser creation. Fundraising duration can be extended only once per effort, but only prior to fundraiser expiration. Fundraising durations cannot exceed 6 months.
  • Each fundraising campaign must reach a minimum of 5,000 points. Fundraising points for campaigns that do not reach the 5,000 point ($50) minimum goal will be forfeited.
